Future Drops New Track And Disses Russell Wilson, Reigniting Feud Between The Two
He calls himself Future, but maybe he should think about switching his name to History, because he’s clearly stuck in the past.
The Atlanta rapper dropped a new track with Quavo on Friday called, Turn Yo Clic Up. And in the track, Future dissed his ex Ciara’s husband, Russell Wilson.
“I got it out the field, f–k Russell,” he raps in the track. Seems pretty obvious who he was referencing with that line, given that Russell spends the majority of time on the football field.
Future has had major beef with the star QB for years now. You’ll remember, in 2014 Ciara called off her engagement with Future after two years of dating. Sources claimed at the time Future had cheated on her. One insider at the time said, “She’s devastated. Ciara’s focus now is the baby,” referencing the former couple’s son, Future Zahir.
Less than a year later, Ciara started dating Wilson. And ever since then, Future has been throwing major shade.
In 2019, he told Beats 1 Radio…
He do exactly what she tell him to do. He not being a man in that position. You not tellin’ her, ‘Bro, chill out with that on the internet. Don’t even talk to him. I’m your husband! You better not even bring Future’s name up!’
Of course, Future giving someone relationship advice is kinda like 50 Cent giving financial advice. It don’t hold that much value.
Safe to say, Future needs to move on. It’s not a good look to still be beefin’ this many years out.
