At Least Six More Former Employees Have Accused Lizzo Of Sexual Harassment

Last week, we told you about the lawsuit coming out against Lizzo. Three former employees accused her of sexual harassment and weight shaming. The employees claim the pop star made them touch nude performers and eat bananas out of the performers’ vaginas while at a club in Amsterdam.

After the shock lawsuit hit the internet, Lizzo responded by basically patting herself on her back. She sent out a lengthy statement, refuting the allegations, and adding that she will not let these claims take away “all the good” she’s done in the world.

Well, we have some bad news for Saint Lizzo.

According to attorneys representing the lawsuit against the singer, at least six other former employees have reached out to them, sharing stories of sexual harassment they faced while working for Lizzo.

Lawyer Ron Zambrano shared that his firm has been examining dancers who worked with Lizzo on her Amazon Studios reality show, ‘Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls.’ Zambrano said in a statement that the original three accusers ‘have bravely spoken out and shared their experiences, opening the door for others to feel empowered to do the same. Some of the claims we are reviewing may be actionable, but it is too soon to say.

Yikes. Not a good look for Lizzo. I know there have been some people coming to her defense, saying these dancers are just trying to get a paycheck, but uh, there’s too much smoke for there not to be a fire.

Now maybe it’s a little brush fire. Maybe Lizzo was a little inappropriate at times and these allegations are exaggerated. But either way, there’s definitely some sort of fire. It’s just a matter of how bad it is.
