Sydney Sweeney Finally Addresses Those Glen Powell Dating Rumors!

Remember a few months back when the hottest bit of gossip was the potential romance between co-stars Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell.

For those who don’t remember, the two stars filmed a rom-com together called ‘Anyone But You‘ which is set to be released in December. And during an early press tour for the movie, cameras caught Powell and Sweeney acting super flirty. Like, it definitely seemed like they were f**king.

And not too long after the rumors spread, Powell and his girlfriend Gigi Paris broke up, which only added fuel to the fire.

But in the months since, Powell and Sweeney haven’t really been spotted together and she still appears to be with her fiance, Jonathan Davino.

So what really happened between them? Well, during a recent interview with Variety, the 25-year-old actress finally addressed the rumors. And essentially, she’s claiming they played it up to promote the film.

It’s a rom-com. That’s what people want! Glen and I don’t really care. We have so much fun together, and we respect each other so much; he’s such a hard worker, and I’m a hard worker. They want it. It’s fun to give it to ’em.

I’m not sure how fun it was for Powell’s ex-girlfriend, but sure, okay.

The ‘Euphoria‘ star went to say that filming the movie was a great experience and they basically just laughed 24/7.

Literally, we were just having a great time every day. It was just laughter 24-7. It was a really, really fun experience. I enjoyed it a lot. … I’m excited for it to come out.

Thanks to the ongoing strike, Powell and Sweeney can’t currently promote the movie, but perhaps the strike will end before December, so that we can get another steamy press tour from them.
