Teyana Taylor Announces Split From Husband Iman Shumpert After Seven Years Of Marriage
2023 is the year of the split. Several celebrity relationships/marriages have ended this year, including some big ones like Hugh Jackman and his wife Deborra-Lee, who recently split after being married for nearly 30 years.
And now, we have another huge blow to love.
Over the weekend, Teyana Taylor announced on her Instagram that she and former NBA star Iman Shumpert have been separated for “a while” and have plans to divorce after seven years of marriage.
She claims that despite the split, they’re still best friends. Taylor also pointed out that “infidelity” did not play a role in the divorce.
To be 1000% clear, ‘infidelity’ ain’t one of the reasons for our departure. We are still the best of friends, great business partners and are one hell of a team when it comes to co-parenting our 2 beautiful children. Most importantly we are FAMILY & in the 10yrs together, 7yrs married we ain’t ever played with or about THAT.

The former couple welcomed their first child together in 2015, and just recently had their second baby in 2020. Shumpert helped deliver both babies at home in the couple’s bathroom.
Just as recently as June, Taylor praised her former boo on his 33rd birthday…
