Jennifer Love Hewitt Gets Real About Aging In Hollywood After Haters Come Out In Droves

Aging in Hollywood is not easy, especially if you’re a woman. You can’t win with the internet because either you age naturally and hear people talk about how old you look now, or you get plastic surgery, and they complain about how fake you look.

44-year-old actress Jennifer Love Hewitt understands this pain. Not too long ago, the ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ star posted a photo on her Instagram of her new haircut. She had her stylist chop off a decent amount of hair.

She put a filter on the photo, and that really irked people. She had to delete the post because so many people were speculating on how much plastic surgery she’s had.

During a recent appearance on the “Inside Of You” podcast, Hewitt explained her decision to add a filter.

It was just a filter that like, at the time, looked nice in the light at the salon. I really gave it no thought. I threw it on because I didn’t have any makeup on.

After reading many comments accusing her of adding the filter because she was afraid to show the world how old she really looks, she decided to playfully respond.

I was like, ‘all natural, no filter,’ like trying to make fun of it, and then they came after me for that and they were like, well now she’s just defending herself … and I realized I can do no right. You don’t want to care what people think about you, but you have to care what people think about you.

It’s a brutal world out there. You know half those people leaving nasty comments don’t even have actual photos of themselves uploaded either. Lame.
