Sources Say Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce Plan To Get Engaged Later This Year

Taylor Swift has basically built an entire brand around love and heartbreak. She’s one of the best songwriters out there when it comes to those two subjects, but surprisingly, she’s never felt the “ultimate” love herself.

Swift has never been married. Many people thought she was headed that way with her ex-boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, but they never did say “I do” to each other.

But now sources are claiming her luck is changing. Insiders have told PageSix that there is “major buzz” around Swift’s camp that Travis Kelce is set to propose to her this summer. According to the reports, he was ready to pop the question over the holidays, but they didn’t want their relationship to seem rushed. After all, they’ve been dating for less than six months.

Taylor and Travis discussed it and there is a plan. They will get engaged on their one-year anniversary in July.

If this source is correct, that’s a little… odd? To plan out your engagement months in advance? Isn’t it supposed to be a surprise? How bizarre. I feel like Swift would not like a planned engagement. She very much strikes me as the type who likes to be surprised and romanced, so if I had to bet, I’d put money on this source being wrong.

For what it’s worth, several sources have confirmed Kelce has already asked Swift’s father permission for her hand in marriage. At this rate, they’ll be having babies by 2024! Oh lawd. Can you imagine how crazy her fans will be when she announces a pregnancy?
