’16 and Pregnant’ Star Sean Garinger Dead After Horrific ATV Accident

This story is pretty heartbreaking, so just a warning.

Sean Garinger starred in the sixth season of ‘16 & Pregnant,’ which aired during the pandemic a few years back. He was on the show with his ex-girlfriend, Selena Gutierrez.

Tragically, Sean passed away last month outside his home in North Carolina. According to his mother, Mary, Sean was simply moving one of their ATVs from one parking spot to another so that his mother could pull her car in.

As he was driving the ATV, the ground underneath him gave in…

Mary says the foundation of the ground there had been eroded due to the mud and rain — and when it caved in from under him, it caused the ATV he was on to flip … with Mary saying he got pinned. She says it made contact with his head, and crushed his skull.

Geez. She says she rushed to his side and tried to get him out, but she noticed he was already unresponsive. Mary revealed all she could do was sit next to him until the ambulance arrived.

There was a huge part of my heart that died with my son on Wednesday. He was my only son, my rock, my strength when I had none left.

That’s just terribly sad. He was just 20-years-old.
