Alec Baldwin Slaps Phone Out Of Woman’s Hand After She Harasses Him Inside Coffee Shop
We all know Alec Baldwin has a temper. There are several videos of him yelling at the paparazzi and pushing people on the street. He’s a grumpy old man.
But his latest freakout might actually be justified.
The 66-year-old actor was trying to get something hot to drink at a coffee shop in Manhattan this past weekend when a woman started filming him and yelling at him about his upcoming involuntary manslaughter trial. You’ll remember, he was charged following the accidental death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of Rust.
The woman in the coffee shop berates Alec, asking him why he hasn’t done any prison time. And to Alec’s credit, he ignores her for a solid minute.
But then she starts shouting “Free Palestine” and “F**k Israel,” as Alec tells an employee to call the police. The woman continues though, calling Alec a criminal.
The woman continues her verbal assault on Alec, demanding that he say, ‘Free Palestine just one time.’ Finally, Alec loses it and slaps her phone out of her hand, cutting off the video.
It’s not clear what happened after the video ended. TMZ reached out to NYPD to see if they responded to the call, but they haven’t received a response.
Honestly, we think Alec handled the situation well, especially considering the fact that he’s probably under a lot of stress. His trial is scheduled to take place in July.
Alec was the second defendant to be indicted in the 2021 killing of Hutchins on the New Mexico movie set. Armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed has already been convicted of involuntary manslaughter and sentenced to 18 months behind bars.
