Joe Jonas Is Getting Personal On His Latest Solo Album, Set To Talk About Divorce And Family

Joe Jonas’ life has changed dramatically in the past year or so. The 34-year-old artist shocked everyone when he filed for divorce from Sophie Turner back in September of 2023.

It was huge news at the time because everyone thought they had a solid relationship. They also share two daughters together.

In the following months, a custody/divorce battle broke out between him and Turner, and things were kinda nasty for a short period of time. Thankfully, they managed to talk things out, with help from their lawyers, and it looks like they’re slowly learning how to co-parent.

And now, Joe is ready to talk about it all, through the medium of music. He was on the ‘Therapuss’ podcast this week, and he revealed he’s been working on a solo album. He described it as his most personal work yet.

I was like, ‘I don’t know what it’s for, but I know I want to work on something. I feel, like, the pull emotionally to work on music.’

So he went to his brothers, to make sure they’d be cool with it, and they gave him their blessing.

So I had the window of time, and I locked myself away. We made an album in two to three weeks. I’m just really excited. It’s the most personal music I have ever put out. There’s some real beautiful ballads, songs about being a dad and songs about love.

He teased his first single, Work It Out, earlier this month on TikTok. You can check it out below. He plans to drop the full album later this year.
