Jennifer Hudson Is A Very Good Girl

The very beautiful and talented Jennifer Hudson was on, “Chelsea Lately” last week and she revealed something that might be a shock to some.

While promoting her new movie, “The Inevitable Defeat Of Mister Pete” the 32-year-old singer/actress told Chelsea that she has never had a drink in her life, or tried any kind of drugs. This was a surprise to a lot of people because you just assume things about people sometimes.

If someone is in their 30s (especially out in Hollywood) you just assume they have been drunk a few times. You assume they’ve already sex and have already tried a few drugs. It’s just something people assume, but Hudson is proving that not all celebrities are down with all the partying.

Oddly enough, Hudson actually plays a heroin addict in the new movie. She told Chelsea the following…

“I’ve never done anything, so that was hard to play this role. I’ve never had a drink in my life. I’m sober. I’m like, ‘Okay, this is new to me.’ Normally as an actor you have things to pull from. I was like, ‘I don’t know what it’s like to see any of that.”

As for her reasoning behind staying sober? She claims that it just doesn’t interest her, “I’ve never been interested. Nobody ever believes it.”

Good for her, it’s nice to hear about a celebrity staying away from drugs. If only every celebrity was like Hudson. Well, actually, I would not like that. I would be out of a job if that were the case.
