Sofia Vergara Shows Off Bikini Body, Shares Tips On How To Take Care Of Yours!
The 42-year-old ‘Modern Family‘ star is making her second appearance on the cover of Shape magazine, and she honestly looks better than ever, which is probably surprising to some people. Those people who think life ends after you turn 30. It’s all downhill from there, right? Not so fast.
Sofia Vergara is proving that you can still keep your body in wonderful shape at age 42. She traded in her mom clothes for a black bikini and smiled for the camera. If you are a fan of Vergara, then you probably know she’s never enjoyed working out, “Everyone knows that I’ve never been into working out. I was always very happy with what I have.” She told the magazine.
But that all changed after she turned 40,
“Then I hit 40 and started seeing a softness everywhere on my body… I knew it was time to do something.”
What did she decide to do? She got serious about her health. She’s drinking more vegetable juices and eating less processed foods. She is also building muscle with the Megaformer machine. And while that may sound like something Michael Bay created, it’s actually just a Pilates-inspired machine that has a system of pulleys and springs with adjustable resistance to make your whole body feel the burn.
Her new, healthier lifestyle doesn’t mean she never sticks her hand in the cookie jar. She admits she still loves her junk food.
“I heard about someone in LA who got hypnotized so they wouldn’t eat candy. I’m seriously looking into that because I’m obsessed. When I do indulge, I exercise a bit harder the next day. My workout motto is really simple: No pain, no cake!”
I like that motto, except my list would be a lot longer. No pain, no cake, no ice cream, no cheese crackers (including Goldfish), no Frito pie, no Fiber One lemons bars because you eat the whole box in two days.
