Kim Kardashian Claims North West Will Have To ‘Work Hard’ Just Like She Did

There are a lot of wealthy people out there in the world, and a lot of those people had to work extremely hard for their money. But no one has worked harder than Kim Kardashian. You may think she’s had an easy life. You may think she’s only famous because some rapper filmed himself releasing on her back.

That’s just simply not true. During a cover story interview for the London Evening Standard’s ES Magazine, Kim Kardashian dropped some truth bombs on you fools. She revealed that she actually had to work and save up for ONE YEAR to get the Prada shoes she really wanted in high school.

“I saved up for this Dolce & Gabbana dress I really wanted, or like in high school these Prada shoes that my parents wouldn’t buy me. And I remember they were $400, and I had to save for the entire year to get them … We didn’t get anything [from my parents], we had to get a job if we wanted it. So I was working in a clothing store and I would save and save.”

The struggle is real, folks. I am glad she finally went public with this. It’s about time people stop claiming she has never worked a day in her life. She clearly has! She worked in a clothing store in high school, okay? And she was smart with her money. She saved and saved.

Why? To buy some $400 shoes! Because we all know success starts with your feet. You can’t be successful unless your feet are covered with greatness.

So, why is Kim Kardashian talking about her difficult childhood? Because she wants everyone to know North West will have to work just as hard as she did. Nothing will be handed to North.

“I was saying that earlier to my friends, ‘I wonder what [North’s] first job is gonna be. And they were like, ‘What? She’s gonna have a job?’ and I was like, ‘Are you kidding me? Of course she is.’ She will have to work for what she wants.”

Preach it, gurlfrand! Make her work for those $400 shoes.
