Taylor Swift Gets Last Laugh In War Against Kanye West, Watch Her Empowering Speech After Winning Album Of The Year (VIDEO)
It’s been a wild week in the world of music, and it all seemed to explode at the 2016 Grammys. There were a few great performances last night. My two favorite were Kendrick Lamar and Tori Kelly/James Bay, you can click on the links to watch the performances. The videos will probably be removed several times throughout the day, so we’ll try our best to keep the links updated.
Anyway, one of the biggest moments of the night didn’t happen until almost the very end when it was time to hand out one of the most important awards of the night: Album of the Year.
Most of you probably know by now that Taylor Swift took home the award, and you probably even heard about her acceptance speech, but have you actually watched it? If not, you can check out the video at the bottom of this page.
During the big moment, Swift didn’t call out Kanye West by name, but it’s pretty clear she was talking about the “I made that bitch famous” line in one of his latest songs from his new album.
“I want to say to all the young women out there—there are going to be people along the way who are going to try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame.” She said in her speech as most everyone in the audience cheered.
However, there was one person who didn’t seem all that impressed with the speech. Did anyone see Tori Kelly’s face while T-Swift was on stage? SHE DID NOT LOOK HAPPY! DAMN!
What do you think she was thinking about? Murder?
And that’s not a misrepresentation of her reaction. Her face stayed like that the entire time the camera was pointed at her.
Anyway, check out Swift’s speech below. What do you think? Did she end the beef with this speech? Or are you just upset that she beat Lamar?
