O.J. Simpson Is A “Completely Free” Man After Being Granted Early Release From Parole
And just like that, O.J. Simpson has complete freedom once again. At 74-years-old, the former football star is as free as a bird.
Some of you may remember that back in 2007 he participated in a bizarre armed robbery in Las Vegas. He was charged with armed robbery, kidnapping, assault and conspiracy.
He served nine years in prison for the crime before being released on parole back in 2017. Ever since his release, Simpson has been active on social media. He’s also been photographed many times by the paparazzi. But still, he had to be on his best behavior in order to avoid any more jail time.
Now though, after four years of parole, Simpson is completely free. His parole wasn’t scheduled to end until sometime in February of 2022, but Christmas came a little early for O.J.
Citing Nevada State Police, NBC News reported that Nevada’s Division of Parole and Probation submitted a discharge request, and parole commissioners agreed to discharging Simpson during a Nov. 30 hearing.
His lawyer confirmed the news, telling the media, “Mr. Simpson is a completely free man now.”
Of course, his mind will never be completely free. He still has to live with the fact that he murdered his former wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.
Although, he’s such an extreme narcissist that he’s probably found a way to justify the killings in his head, so he probably doesn’t feel that bad about it.
