Lindsey Graham Tries To Start World War III By Calling For Assassination Of Putin

There’s a war going on between Russia and Ukraine, if you somehow missed the news for the past two weeks. It’s a war absolutely no one wanted, except for Russia, or perhaps more specifically, Vladimir Putin.

Thousands of people have died on both sides, and as of right now, the fighting rages on, even as citizens in both countries struggle. Russia’s economy is collapsing, thanks to sanctions, which is putting some pressure on Putin. “Some” being the keyword there, because the dude doesn’t actually care about his citizens, so if they suffer, no big deal.

In any event, the news can’t stop talking about this conflict, and on Thursday, Senator Lindsey Graham filled some airtime on Fox News by essentially calling for the assassination of Putin.

The only way this ends is for somebody in Russia to take this guy out. You would be doing your country and the world a great service. Is there a Brutus in Russia? Is there a more successful Colonel Stauffenberg in the Russian military?

After his appearance on the show, he doubled down in a tweet…

Unless you want to live in darkness for the rest of your life, be isolated from the rest of the world in abject poverty, and live in darkness you need to step up to the plate.

And look, we get it. Putin is a bad dude. He’s a war criminal. He might legit be a psychopath, and that’s exactly why we shouldn’t be calling for an assassination on live television!

Putin is unstable, and honestly, who knows what he might do. He’s already threatened to use nuclear weapons if other countries get involved, and while that’s probably just a threat… does anyone want to find out for sure? I don’t think so.

Graham’s comments drew criticism from both sides, even Senator Ted Cruz called him out…

This is an exceptionally bad idea. Use massive economic sanctions; BOYCOTT Russian oil & gas; and provide military aid so the Ukrainians can defend themselves. But we should not be calling for the assassination of heads of state.

At 66-years-old, Graham knows he wouldn’t be going to war, so he probably doesn’t give a f**k if WWIII goes down.
