Taylor Swift Is Still Mad At Kim Kardashian For The Leaked Kanye West Phone Call

How would you feel about eating beef that’s been marinating in the oven for seven years? Well, the Swifties are currently eating that sh*t up, because their Queen (Taylor Swift) just took the beef back out the oven during an interview with Time Magazine.

The 33-year-old superstar was named Time’s Person of the Year for 2023, and during her cover story, she talked about how she went into hiding back in 2016 after Kim Kardashian leaked a private (highly edited) phone call she had with Kanye West.

You’ll remember, West named dropped Swift in his 2016 track, Famous, rapping that he still might have “sex with Taylor” because he “made that bitch famous.”

Swift had apparently given permission to Kanye to use her name in the song, but she didn’t know he was going to call her a bitch, which is why she slammed the track after its release. Kim then leaked a phone call between Kanye and Swift, where Swift seems to agree to letting Kanye use her name.

Now, seven years later, Swift is remembering how difficult that time was for her.

You have a fully manufactured frame job, in an illegally recorded phone call. That took me down psychologically to a place I’ve never been before. I moved to a foreign country. I didn’t leave a rental house for a year. I was afraid to get on phone calls. I pushed away most people in my life because I didn’t trust anyone anymore. I went down really, really hard.

And while Swift has obviously bounced back from the incident, she still wishes Kim would reach out to her directly to apologize, because she would be willing to accept it.

Sources say Kim has no plans to do that though. In fact, when Swift brought this incident back up in 2020, Kim tweeted that it was a little pathetic of Swift to be talking about it while so many people are trying to deal with a global pandemic.

@taylorswift13 has chosen to reignite an old exchange — that at this point in time feels very self-serving given the suffering millions of real victims are facing right now. To be clear, the only issue I ever had around the situation was that Taylor lied through her publicist who stated that ‘Kanye never called to ask for permission…’
