OJ Simpson Has Reportedly Died At 76 After Battle With Cancer

We’re not sure how sad this news is, but OJ Simpson has passed away at the age of 76. The former NFL star, who famously got away with double murder, had been battling cancer for the past year.

Back in February, a local news station in Vegas claimed he was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer and was undergoing chemo treatments. They also claimed he was in hospice care, but he denied the hospice rumors by posting a video of himself inside a car.

“Hospice! You talking about hospice? No, I’m not even in the hospital. I don’t know who put that out there,” he told the camera. But obviously he was worse than he appeared in the video.

His death was announced via statement on his Twitter account…

On April 10th, our father, Orenthal James Simpson, succumbed to his battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren. During this time of transition, his family asks that you please respect their wishes for privacy and grace.

He certainly left his mark on the world. That’s probably the nicest thing we can say about him. He left his mark. And he did provide us with one of the greatest police chases in history, so there’s that as well.
