Patrick Mahomes Says Taylor Swift Went From Knowing Nothing About Football To Everything
It’s been a minute since we’ve heard about football and Taylor Swift, so let’s change that, yeah?
Patrick Mahomes, who leads Travis Kelce and the Super Bowl winning Kansas City Chiefs, talked with Time magazine and of course Swift came up in the discussion.
According to the star QB, Swift has learned a lot about football in just one season…
When she’s talking about football, when she’s learning it, you can see her business mind putting it together. It’s almost like she’s trying to become a coach. ‘Why can’t you try this, this and this?’ She’s asking the right questions.
Wow. She’s already giving them suggestions? That’s pretty bold, considering the Chiefs are pretty much a dynasty at this point. In the past five years, they’ve won three championships.
Mahomes also claims that Swift is one of the most down to earth people he’s ever met, especially for a mega superstar.
I’ve met a lot of famous people. She’s probably the most down-to-earth of them all. And she’s never not working. Even when she’s taking her downtime, she’s working on something. Shooting a music video or singing a song or writing a song. You can see it by how she talks.
High praise coming from Mahomes! We’re sure he knows a thing or two about working hard. Elsewhere in the interview, Mahomes talked about how many fans Swift brought to their team. He believes she took them from a nationwide team to a worldwide team.
It’s really cool of him to speak so highly of her and also give her some credit as well. He certainly didn’t have to do that.
