Cuba Gooding Jr. Denies Being Linked To Diddy, Says He’s Just An Easy Target Because Of His Troubled History
If you haven’t been following the Diddy drama, then you might not know that Cuba Gooding Jr.’s name came up in the allegations against the music mogul.
Music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Smith filed a lawsuit against Diddy back in February, accusing him of touching him inappropriately. He also said he was drugged and raped at one of Diddy’s parties, and that Diddy’s friends touched him while he was drugged.
Smith name dropped Cuba Gooding, claiming he was at one of the parties and allegedly participated in the groping.
But in a new interview on ‘The PBD Podcast,’ the Oscar-winning actor claims he doesn’t know what the f**k Smith is talking about.
That’s the craziest thing. I wake up in the morning. I turn on the ‘Today’ show [and hear] ‘Actor Cuba Gooding Jr. …’ Excuse me! You pull me into this? I’ve met Diddy two or three times. That was it, but this guy who’s suing him, is going after the money … I’m sure. And by the way, I don’t know P. Diddy’s life. I don’t know what he’s going through. We were acquaintances
He believes Smith dropped his name because he’s an easy target. You’ll remember, Cuba pleaded guilty to a forcible touching misdemeanor charge for non-consensually kissing a woman at a night club in 2018.
Apparently, he was in the middle of an addiction to alcohol and was getting himself in some major trouble around town. It appears he has cleaned up his act now, which is probably why these Diddy rumors are impacting him so much.
