50 Cent’s Docuseries On Sexual Assault Allegations Against Diddy Will Premiere On Netflix… SOON!
You thought 50 Cent was joking around about making a documentary on the sexual assault allegations against Diddy? Think again. He is super serious and actually just sold the docuseries to Netflix.
Apparently, there was a bidding war for the project and Netflix came out on top. TMZ describes the bidding war as “massive” but we don’t know the exact amount Netflix paid.
We’re told there was a massive bidding war over the doc, which was produced through 50’s G-Unit Film and Television Studios, with multiple networks and all of the streaming platforms attempting to land the series.
It’s certainly a timely subject matter, with the newly released Cassie footage, and the brand new lawsuit against Diddy, which was filed on Tuesday (May 21) by model Crystal McKinney. She is accusing the music mogul of sexually assaulting her back in 2003.
50 Cent has been eating all this up because he’s been beefin’ with Diddy since 2006, when he dropped a diss track called ‘The Bomb,’ in which he alleged Diddy knows who killed Notorious B.I.G.
According to sources, this documentary will be released “sooner” rather than later. We’re not sure how soon that means, but based on the reports, we’re thinking it could be released before the end of summer.
We’ll keep you posted.
