I waited a little while before posting to give everyone a chance to screw it up and sort out the deets, including my “so called” reliable sources who managed to screw things up as well.

They had the baby via a scheduled C-section, so there was no Jay-Z swerving the Maybach through the streets of Brooklyn to get to the hospital.  In fact, they had the baby at New York’s Lenox Hill Hospital and the rumor is they rented out the whole floor, which could easily cost over $1.3  Million dollars.  Doctors and nurses had to turn in their cell phones before starting their shift.  You can imagine how a set of pics could change a nurses intern’s life.

Of course the tweets have started to pour in as they do with anything these days,

Led by Russell Simmions: “congrats to my good friends Beyonce and Jay-Z

Then Rihanna: “Welcome to the world princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih.”

My question is, if your 0^th birthday costs $1.3 million, I wonder what your sweet 16 will look like.  MTV better get ready for that, it could easily be the Blingiest Bash.  (That’s what MTV calls out, I take no responsibility for using “Blingiest”)
