Jon Gosselin Is Now A Waiter In Pennsylvania

You all know Jon Gosselin as the douchebag from the TLC show, ‘Jon & Kate Plus 8.’ Just a few years back, he was one of the most recognized reality stars and living in a million-dollar home.

Now the 36-year-old is living in a cabin without internet or television in Pennsylvania. He’s currently working as a waiter at a little café named, “Black Dog Café.”

Entertainment Tonight spoke with the former reality star about his current situation. He stated that it’s extremely hard for him to find work, he also talked about how nervous he was to start his new job…

“At first I was nervous because I was like, ‘How are people going to react?’ But then I’m thinking, ‘Well it’s fun and I get to talk to people.’ And they technically already know me. They’re like, ‘Are you the guy?’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, I’m the guy.’”

You may remember that The National Enquirer was the first media outlet to find out about Jon’s new job. They broke the story earlier this month and at the time, Jon told them that he was there just to “volunteer.”

We’re assuming that he was just embarrassed to admit he went from making $22,500 an episode to waiting tables in Pennsylvania. Not that there is anything wrong with waiting tables, but it certainly must be a shock to someone who was living the life just a few years back.

Maybe it’s karma? After all, he seemed like a huge tool. Hopefully this new job shrinks his big head a little bit. If he plays his cards right, maybe he’ll land another reality show named, “Jon Party of 8.”

And hopefully he threw out of all those terrible Ed Hardy shirts…
