This will have a definite impact on the earnings of some artists. With digital music taking over, physical sales of music is almost a non-existent earner for many musicians. They have been forced to rely heavily on live concerts as a means to making their money. Between the public fearing for their lives and venues not willing to tolerate the perceived drama that comes with booking certain artists, this will put a collective dent in hip hop’s pockets; at least for now.
