Keri Hilson outrages fans, she Tweeted a Pic of An Amy Winehouse Look Alike

Keri Hilson was in the City last night at Juliet when a fan that looked a lot like Amy Winehouse posed for a photo. Amazed by the resemblance, she took to twitter,

“Gasp* Amy Winehouse resurrected to party w/ me!!! (seriously, uncanny resemblance)“,

I personally saw no disrespect, just a young girl sending out a light hearted tweet. Well fans of Amy went wild. They thought the remark was disrespectful and uncalled for, and they blew Kerry up on Twitter.

She then sent out 3 tweets apologizing. More then I would have done, but I don’t have 1,494,452 twitter followers either…..yet, and I don’t need them to buy my album.

This all happens the night before Amy was laid to rest, so it was a time of ultra-sensitivity. I think Keri’s clean up efforts were timely and honest. Hopefully that’s the end of that.

In related Amy Winehouse news – There were no drugs found and her autopsy came back inconclusive. WTF? Now we have to wait for the toxicology report which can take 2 -4 weeks.

To me it stinks of a suicide, an overdose is an accident so there is no time to tidy up the place.
