Anna Kournikova Quits The Biggest Loser After Only One Season

No more Anna K on the Biggest Loser. Bye Bye. 

Honestly I saw this coming from the third show and so did Insiders for NBC.  They said that she has been a “nightmare” to work with and no one was surprised when she announced that she was done. 

Only two months as a Jillian replacement and everyone involved agrees that it’s just not the right fit.  The contestants didn’t like her non sympathetic attitude and I think Anna herself was not enjoying he show.

In her departure Anna made a statement to US Online,

“I enjoyed my time on the Biggest Loser ranch. Although I will not be returning as a full time trainer on season 13, I will always be a part of ‘The Biggest Loser’ family and my commitment to bettering lives through health and fitness will continue.”

NBC’s answer was simply,

“It wasn’t the right fit for her.”

Dolvett Quince seems to bring the right energy and compassion, while not babying the contestants.  He’s gotten 62 year old Bonnie fighting for her life in the house and working twice as hard as she did when she was being trained by Anna. 

Anna is a gifted world class athlete.  Not someone who was once overweight and had to overcome obstacles to get in shape.  Her mentality is bent on always being great and trying to be the greatest.  These people just want to be good.  It’s an entire different mindset that Anna never grasped.  She was frustrated because the contestants weren’t’ giving it their all.  What she failed to realize, is that’s why they were on the show.

Anna was nice to look at, but couldn’t train contestants for sh*t.  NEXT!!!
