President of Youth Baseball Organization Calls Whitney Houston the “N” Word on Facebook!
[sam id=”16″ codes=”true”]I wish I was making this up….but sadly it’s true. The incident took place in Oak Lawn, Illinois. The worst part is, the man has the nerve to be pissed off because he said his life is now “ruined”. Oh Really??
SO WHAT DID THE YOUTH BASEBALL PRESIDENT WRITE?
John Kelly wrote on his Facebook page,
“I’m so sick of reading about this dumb stupid N – – – – – Whitney Houston.”
Wow, wow, wow. Wow!! Here is the post in it’s entirety,
I’m so sick if reading about this dumb stupid N—– Whitney Houston..she’s the dumb ass that decided to do drugs n kill herself stay with that woman beater … she blew more $$ up her nose than most of ye will make in yer lifetime … there are kids dying real fathers n mothers fighting for their lives…grow up ye dumb assess…think she’d give a flying f— about u???? Just saying.”
Although Kelly has his Facebook page restricted to adult friends and family that didn’t stop a parent from seeing the comment and re-posting it on the league’s page! The mom is staying on the low, to protect herself and her family. She told reporters,
“If this is the way he talks, what is he thinking when he has a black kid in the field?”
Kelly’s initial response,
“I didn’t even realize I put it in until after I sent it,”
Are you serious? Is that supposed to make it better? Then Mr. Kelly has the nerve to complain about how it will affect his life,
“I don’t need this drama in my life. It’s going to affect me hugely, and my business,”
Kelly is a self-employed tradesman and he’s worried about getting work and also how this will affect his kids. He fears they will now have problems with his public image being that of a racist.
The only thing he apologized for is using the “N” word. Kelly states,
“I do stand behind everything I said except the ‘n’-word. I regret using that adjective,” “Does that make me a racist? Are you kidding me? It was the farthest thing from my mind. I have some amazing friends who are black.”
Well I’m sure those “amazing” friends didn’t see that post on your facebook wall, and if hey did, I’m sure they are now “amazingly” unfriending you.
DOES THE PUNISHMENT FIT THE CRIME
He remains on the little league’s board, but he is banned from coaching for a year. I’m not sure if that fits the crime. The league is in Oak lawn, Illinois. A suburb of Chicago with a population of about 55,245 people, 1.22% of which are Black. So there are approximately 552 black people in that entire town, that’s why he is still on the league’s board, and not banned from coaching for life.
I’m not naïve enough to think that this stuff doesn’t exist, it just surprises me that people have so much hatred that it overwhelms them to the point that they are willing to tear themselves and their families down just to express it. This doesn’t anger me as much as it saddens and disappoints. At least he was exposed.
Now we know why little Timmy wasn’t getting any playing time. Geesh!
