The Bachelor’s Host, Chris Harrison Will Now a Be Bachelor himself after 18 Years.

How ironic is that? The Bachelor host is now a Bachelor!  After 19 years of marriage Chris Harrison is now a 40 year old Bachelor.  He was married to Gwen Jones who he has two two small kids.  Joshua age 9 and Taylor age 7.

As reported by In Touch magazine, they have been apart for a while and everything is very friendly between the two.

‘They’ve been taking turns with their kids so they can both see them as much as possible. It has been really amicable, with no other parties involved, and Chris has been a total professional while filming The Bachelorette.’

The couple also released a joint statement,

“Though we have made this incredibly difficult decision to separate, our love and mutual respect remain, and we look forward to sharing in the lives of our wonderful children,

Chris will continue his hosting with the Bachelorette  in just a few days.

What you might not know about Chris is that he also hosts The Bachelorette since 2003 and Bachelor Pad in 2010. He is also the co-host of Hollywood 411 on TV Guide Network and host of Designer’s Challenge on HGTV and host of Mall Masters on Game Show Network.

How much does all that hosting pay him?

How about a net worth of $15.5 Million.  He gets roughly $60,000 per episode of the Bachelor / Bachelorette.  It’s not stated weather he has a pre-nup or not but he could definitely be losing a hefty sum between a settlement and child support.

Chris has also done his share of acting with roles in Alias, The Practice, Six Feet Under and Sabrina the Teenage Witch. .
