Nas Hospitalized Due to Sudden Illness.
It’s funny or I guess not so funny when reality hits rappers. When rappers get ill, they are not so hardcore anymore. All the mean mugging and thug talk stops and they become just another person that is not feeling well. Nas is the latest hip hop superstar to head to the emergency room.
Reports say that he had the flu, other reports say that he suffered from vertigo. Vertigo is no joke. We commonly think of it as a fear of heights but it’s actually a balance issue so you can be affected even when simply standing.
Just think of that ride that spins, and pins you to the wall as it goes around. You know the one where the the floor drops. Imagine drinking sour milk and expired yogurt, then getting on that ride.
The symptoms of Vertigo are light headedness, dizziness followed by nausea and vomiting.
I’m not sure what happens when you go to the ER for vertigo, but when you are a celebrity and rich you aren’t worried about a Copay so a trip to the ER just to make sure everything is functioning properly is probably a good decision.
Because of this unexpected illness Nas cancelled his appearance on “Live! with Kelly and Michael”. He appears to be doing well, and sent a tweet out to his fans apologizing for missing the show and insuring everyone that he is doing well.
