Notorious BIG catoon

A Notorious B.I.G. Cartoon? Not Nearly As Good of an idea As it Might Sound.

The Notorious B.I.G.’s legacy will live on…as a cartoon.   The rapper will have a new cartoon tentatively entitled, “House of Wallace”.  The project will also be putting his 16 year old son C.J. and his 19 year old daughter T’yanna to work as they will voicing their own characters.   That’s where the good parts begin and  end.

THE PLOT

In the cartoon, BIG leaves his children the keys and control to his music studio.  C.J. and T’yanna have to protect the studio that is facing hostile takeover by a “a cookie cutter “entertainment factory”.  They are guided daily by a ghost version of Notorious B.I.G.  that helps them fight the good fight.   In order to provide money, the kids turn the studio into Jingle house during the day and a hip hop studio true to BIG’s legacy by night.

Musical guests will appear in cartoon form and record jingles for actual products.  Some of BIG’s songs will also be remade and remixed during the cartoon.

If all this sounds like a hot mess it’s because it is.  The demographic is off and the entire project is a few years too late….like 10.  Will kids even know who the Notorious BIG is?  They will be asking why is Cedric the Entertainer coming back as a ghost in this cartoon?

I say if you don’t have a great project, let the man rest in peace, especially if his kids don’t need the money.  The project has yet to find a TV home. …(I wonder why).

BABY BIG FLEXES HIS ACTING CHOPS

Young CJ actually has done some acting; here he is with Will Ferrell in the movie Everything Must Go.  Maybe he will have a career and people will stop trying to attach his father’s name to anything and everything.  Rest in Peace Big.
