Glee’s Chris Colfer Talks About The Death Of Cory Monteith
Chris Colfer shared some very emotional scenes with Cory Monteith on the set of Glee, and now he is opening up to The Huffington Post about the sudden death of his co-star.
He told the website that he appreciates all the support from fans, but he also seemed a little annoyed by some fans trying to tell him how to deal with Cory’s death. He states that he would prefer to grieve in private and thinks that some fans cross a line when they offer him advice on how to cope with the loss,
“It’s difficult because it’s hard to mourn someone, but it’s another thing to mourn someone with the world. I think a line needs to be drawn, because it’s really unnerving to get messages from people, from 12-year-olds in Nebraska telling you how to mourn and telling you how to pay your respects.”
He also said that it’s a terrible situation, but he feels like the only thing you can do is try to move forward.
As most of you know, Glee has announced that they will write out Cory Monteith’s character in the third episode of the upcoming fifth season. It’s expected to be a very emotional episode, an episode that deals with the issues that Cory Monteith struggled with his entire life. The whole episode will apparently be dedicated to him and his character, Finn Hudson.
The premiere of the fifth season of Glee is set for September 26.
