Which Member of One Direction Got Engaged?

Don’t shoot the messenger, ladies. Zayn Malik has reportedly asked his longtime girlfriend Perrie Edwards to marry him.

The mother of Edwards has confirmed the engagement, this according to a new report by The Sun,

“It’s official. I’m over the moon. They are really in love. It’s wonderful because Zayn is absolutely gorgeous. It’s true they got engaged…and it’s absolutely lovely. Perrie loves him to pieces and it’s perfect. They get on so well together and understand each other. It’s just fabulous.”

We can’t be for sure, but we think that Perrie’s mother is happy about her daughter’s engagement. Perrie and Zayn first met each other back in 2011 on the set of The X Factor. Just a few months after meeting, they began dating and haven’t looked back since.

It is worth noting that Perrie was spotted wearing a diamond ring at the London premiere of the One Direction movie yesterday. It is believed that she didn’t want to announce the engagement then because she wanted all the attention to be focused on the band.

What a sweet girl! It’s just too bad that all of the One Direction groupies are going to be sending her death threats now.

“HOW DARE YOU MARRY ZAYN! HE’S MINE! YOU BITCH! HE TOLD ME HE LOVED ME IN A DREAM ONCE, DOES THAT MEAN NOTHING TO YOU?”
