Which Actor Worked As A Stripper When He Was Just 18-Years-Old?

The 34-year-old star of, ‘Parks and Recreation’ Chris Pratt talked to Buzzfeed recently and he revealed some very interesting things about his past.

He admitted that he “entertained” a lot of people during special bachelorette parties and birthday parties. Pratt never actually danced on stage at a strip joint, but he did entertain a lot of women.

“I was always a very much naked person. I loved to always get naked. I was very free, so I thought, I may as well get paid.”

He claims that he had a “handful” of gigs when he was 18, even dancing at his friend’s grandmother’s birthday party.

“It was a surprise. I don’t know how it got around to them, but they paid me $40. I was never like Magic Mike, you know. I did go one time and audition on a stage for a club, but I don’t think I got the job. I don’t think I’m a very good dancer.”

After failing the audition, Pratt decided that stripping wasn’t for him and he ended up doing just about every job you can think of to earn some quick cash…

“I cleaned peoples’ cars, painted murals, worked for my dad, worked at a burger joint, was a room service waiter, worked at the snack bar at a bingo hall. I babysat and mowed lawns; I picked blackberries and sold them. I was always very enterprising as a kid. I was always trying to find some way to make money.”

Picked blackberries? That’s awesome. You see, some celebrities have worked hard in their life! Mowing lawns is a tough job. My friends and I would go out every Saturday with a lawn mower and a huge bottle of water. We’d knock on stranger’s doors and ask them if they wanted their lawn mowed.

It turns out people didn’t like being bothered at 8 in the morning on a Saturday. I think we mowed a total of three yards, and one of them was by accident.
