Jake Gyllenhaal Rushed To Hospital After Punching Mirror
Poor ol’ Jake Gyllenhaal was rushed to the hospital early in the morning Wednesday after he punched a mirror on the set of his new movie, ‘Nightcrawler.’
Why did he punch a mirror? Was it because he listened to the song Taylor Swift wrote about him? No, he was apparently just really into his character and punched it during an emotional scene.
A source who talked with People said the following…
“Jake flipped out. His character was looking into a mirror during the scene and punched the mirror in anger and broke it, cutting himself so bad he had to be taken to a hospital.”
Ouch. That is a man who takes his job seriously! The 32-year-old actor did end up having to get stitches, but he was back at work later in the day. Sources say the accident happened after a tiring 18-hours on set.

Yeah, right. He was probably mad that he’s having to lose 20 damn pounds for the role. I’d be breaking mirrors too if I was starving myself. He probably thought he saw a cheeseburger in that damn thing and reached in to grab it.
