Colin Farrell Talks Relationships, Reveals Having Sober Sex Was A Terrifying Experience

Millions of women will be dragging their boyfriends/husbands to see ‘Winter’s Tale’ this Valentine’s Day. Even though almost every movie critic alive has slammed the movie, it doesn’t matter because Colin Farrell is in the film.

The 37-year-old movie star has struggled in the past with alcohol and drugs. His addiction forced him to enter rehab in 2006. As you can imagine, before checking into rehab, Farrell was spending most of his time drinking and having sex.

And now that he’s sober, he’s still having a lot of sex, but he explained to Elle magazine that it feels completely different now.

“I made love to a woman about two and half years after I got clean, and it was one of the most terrifying moments of my life. It was in the afternoon. The windows and the curtains were open. It was lovely, and to be crass, it wasn’t f–king. She was very gentle. But it was terrifying. Because I was just used to drunkenness and dark rooms and clubs and toilets and wherever.”

How romantic, right? Clearly, this is the kind of man that every woman dreams of being with. Farrell also revealed that he does believe in monogamy, but he’s not quite sure if it works for him.

“For me, I don’t know if it’s possible. I’m not saying it’s not possible. I have been monogamous in relationships. But I’m not in a relationship now. So they haven’t worked. So it wouldn’t stand up in court.”

F–k this guy. He knows exactly what he’s doing. He’s warning girls that he’s not looking for anything serious, but he’s also not completely shutting the door on the idea. This makes women believe they can be the one to change his mind. Believe that their love will be enough for him.

Combine that with his good looks and he’ll never have to use his hand again. He’s a genius.
