Rihanna’s Ex-Accountant Fires Back, Calls Her A Financially Impaired Moron!

Remember last month when we told you that Rihanna was filing a lawsuit against her former accountant? She claimed that he left her “effectively bankrupt” and did a poor job at managing her finances.

The documents Rihanna filed showed she started 2009 with $11 million, and ended the year with just $2 million. The 26-year-old singer also claims her former accountant irresponsibly let her purchase a house that cost almost $7.5 million.

Well, now Rihanna’s ex-accountant is fighting back, and he is NOT happy. The accountant, Peter Gounis, filed a response to Rihanna’s lawsuit. He says he was hired to record and manage her financial accounts — not to babysit her and watch her every move.

Peter insists he is not to blame for the huge loss in 2009. According to Gounis, it was Rihanna’s endless shopping sprees, and expensive parties she threw for herself. He also notes that she was the one who skipped out on her tour to film “Battleship,” which scored a 34% on Rotten Tomatoes.

“Was it really necessary to tell her that if you spend money for things you will end up with the things, and not the money?” Gounis asked in his fiery response. He’s under the impression that Rihanna’s lawsuit will be thrown out.

Good for him. It sounds like she just wants someone to blame for her stupidity.
