A Fed Up Whoopi Goldberg Curses Rosie O’Donnell out during the taping of The View

We all knew this was going to happen, we just wish it wasn’t during a commercial break.

Just two weeks into the new show, I could see some tension brewing between Rosie and Whoopi. This was somewhat expected because we heard the rumors that Rosie wanted to have full control of the show. She was not a happy camper when Whoopi was appointed as moderator over her.

The discussion that caused this dispute was about the physical abuse of children, something that Whoopi and Rosie don’t agree on. Ironically enough the topic wasn’t the cause of the scuff, but how the discussion was moderated.

Rosie doesn’t want to wear an earpiece and because of that she cannot hear when the producers give Whoopi the cue to go to commercial break and as a result, doesn’t know when to shut her trap. As you know, on major network TV there are stiff monetary penalties for not going to commercial break so Whoopi had to interrupt Rosie, in mid-sentence to pay the bills. This is all part of being the moderator.

During the commercial break, a pissed Rosie, took the mic that they use to talk with audience members and talked directly to Whoopi. She told Whoopi that she was upset and didn’t appreciate being cut off. [more…]

Whoopi, tried to keep the peace, telling Big Rosie,

This isn’t the time for this Rosie.

Now as a black man, when a black woman, gives you that look and tells you, that it’s not the time for this, that means, “Your ass is about to get cursed out in front of a lot of people if you don’t drop this for now”.

Rosie, not being well versed in Black-a-nese language didn’t understand and at her own risk, continued,

Well I just don’t appreciate you saying that you were going to do something and not doing it. It makes me upset and I just don’t want to have to go through this,

Well that was it. Whoopi went off! Whoopi opened up a can of verbal Whoop-Ass,

‘F*** it, I told you to leave it alone and you just don’t want to listen. If you want to go there Rosie, I will dammit. I’m really sick of your s***!’

The crowd fell quiet; at this point there was nothing left for the two to do, except start throwing blows.

ROSIE PEREZ TO THE RESCUE

Perez took the high tension moment and went for the easy joke,

‘Oh s***, Twitter is going to be off the hook now. They’re about to get it,’

The crowd erupted into laughter and producers jumped on this opportunity to run over and give the two gladiators notes regarding the next segments, offering a much needed distraction.

WHOOPI WANTS OUT

It was also revealed that after all the changes Whoopi actually begged ABC to terminate her contract, cut her a check for $10 million and let her go. At age 58, she didn’t want to deal with Rosie and all her crap and now the frustration of their relationship is starting to show.

One thing for sure this will boost ratings at least for a few more weeks as people will be watching now just waiting for punches to be thrown or the epic moment when Whoopi gets up and walks out.

DING DING! We are ready for round two, however be warned the Rosie Monster is no JOKE!
