Fox News’ Chris Wallace Sends Out Apology To Kelly Clarkson After Body Shaming Her

If you have ever watched Chris Wallace on Fox News, then you know there is just something not right about him. His voice, the way he laughs about certain things that normal people don’t find funny. He doesn’t seem like someone you could trust.

And this is why I am not surprised to hear he made fun of Kelly Clarkson’s weight last Friday on The Mike Gallagher Show. For those who don’t know, Mike Gallagher is even more untrustworthy than Wallace. You put the two of them in a room together and you know some bad sh-t is about to happen.

Sadly, the sh-t they talked about on Friday landed right on the American Idol winner’s shoulder. After talking about her performance on Idol earlier in the week, Gallagher and Wallace started to discuss her weight.

She “could stay off the deep dish pizza for a little while.” Wallace said during their conversation. “Holy cow, did she blow up.” Gallagher added, maybe forgetting that Clarkson is the mother of a 9-month-old baby.

After realizing they probably went a little too far, Wallace and Gallagher sent out statements discussing the issue.

First up? Mr. Wallace.

I sincerely apologize to Kelly Clarkson for my offensive comment. I admire her remarkable talent and that should have been the focus of any discussion about her.

And now Mr. Gallagher…

Tubby Mike is the last person in the world who should bring up anyone’s weight. I couldn’t possibly feel any worse than I do for making an observation that led to the conclusion that I ‘fat-shamed’ this talented and classy entertainer. It was a really stupid thing for me to do.

Of course you are sorry now. “You can always be sorry after!”
