American Idol 2015 Season Finale: Who Is Your Next American Idol?
We made it. Yeah, this night is all about the new Idol winner, but I think the fans also deserve some attention. It’s not easy being an American Idol supporter. We constantly have to hear how ‘The Voice’ is so much better by all of our friends. We have to sit through two-hour shows filled with fluff…it’s not easy.
But we stick together, because at the end of the day, American Idol is still the champ. It’s still one of the most successful shows in the history of television, and we will certainly miss it after season 15 next year.
Anyway, let’s get to this ridiculous season 14 finale. It would be impossible to recap the entire two-hour event. There were so many things happening, and most of those things had nothing to do with the show we had been watching since January. However, there were a few entertaining moments during the finale, so let’s discuss those before we reveal who won the competition.
The Nick/Clark opening with Fall Out Boy was actually pretty exciting. I was this close to jumping off my couch. That’s how pumped I was during the performance. I usually only leave my couch for food and water.
Okay, I can’t do this. I’m sorry. I am a fan of American Idol, but sitting there watching this Prince Royce douchebag demand booty on stage was just too much. And the addition of Pitbull (TWICE!) just made everything worse. I stopped caring after that, and I don’t just mean about the show, I think I stopped caring about life.
But I realize no one gives a Prince Royce about my problems, so let’s just get to the results…

I am happy for him. He really does seem like a good dude, and he never did give up on his dream. I can support that, plus, he might actually have a huge career after this. He’s got that radio voice and we all know the ladies love his smile. American Idol needs another superstar.
Nick could be that superstar.
