Nicki Minaj Just Listened To Her Ex’s Bitter Rap Song, Find Out How She Responded Inside!

We told you all about the drama yesterday. Safaree Samuels’ new single Love The Most was “leaked” online yesterday morning. We shared a one minute sample on this site, and the words he was spittin’ were directed right at his ex-girlfriend, Nicki Minaj. After 12 years together, they broke up last year, and it’s clear only Nicki has moved on.

In the song, Samuels raps, “Twelve years up in flames / Thought you woulda had my kid / Year 3 got engaged / Now we movin’ out of rage.” And that’s not even the most damaging line in the song. The saddest part in the song is when Safaree seems to suggest that Nicki was ashamed of their relationship…

What a shame / It took a split for them to know I was your man / Got so tired of hidin’ it / Head high with no pride in it / Guess I wasn’t cool enough cause in our pictures we hidin’ it.

Safaree decided to take advantage of all this free press and released his song on iTunes a few days early. You can listen to the full song at the bottom of this page. It’s actually a pretty dope song.

But what does Nicki think of the song? Well, she went on her Twitter account last night and spoke directly to her fans…

That’s probably not what Safaree wanted to hear, but there is nothing he can do about it. Nicki’s heart has obviously moved on. Hopefully writing down the lyrics to this song helped Safaree move on as well.
