Diddy Escapes Felony Charges For Kettlebell Attack, But He’s Not Completely Out Of Trouble Yet!
Well, this was pretty much expected. Just over a week ago, the internet was going crazy after Sean Diddy Combs was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon at UCLA’s Acosta Athletic Training Complex. He was facing some serious charges, but as we all know, money is the most powerful thing in the world, and Diddy has lots of money.
NBC News is hearing from their sources that the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office has decided not to press charges against Combs in connection with the alleged kettlebell attack. This means he no longer has to worry about being charged with a felony; however, the L.A. City Attorney’s Office could still file misdemeanor charges against him.
We’ll see what happens. Some sources believe a decision could be made early next week, and if they do decide to charge him, it will most likely be misdemeanor assault. That would certainly still be a loss for Diddy, especially if you believe his self-defense excuse. As you all know, he claims he was only acting in self-defense during the altercation with coach Sal Alosi.
A day after the shocking arrest, Diddy’s son posted the photo you see below, with the caption, “I thank God for having a father that’s always there for me.. Love you pops!”
We will keep you posted. As of right now, it looks like Daddy-Diddy has escaped any serious trouble.
