Will Smith Ain’t About That ‘Talking Trash’ Lifestyle, Says Nice Things About Janet Hubert After She Put Him On Blast!

Please don’t tell me you missed our post last week. You know, the post where we told you all about Janet Hubert’s sickening appearance on the talk show, The Real. If you did miss it, you can click here to check it out. Basically, the 60-year-old actress is still pissed off at Will Smith.

Why? Well, that’s the thing. She’s never that specific about what he allegedly did to get her fired from Fresh Prince of Bel Air several years ago.

I think he was young and he was inexperienced and I think he simply had to win. And sometimes when you get caught up in a lie and I went back to them in 2009 I and said, ‘Please I need you to clear my name.’

Win what? An argument? A game of rock-paper-scissors? What exactly are we talking about here? Stop being so freaking vague! Anyway, after all the trash Hubert has talked about Will Smith and even his wife, Jada, you’d think Smith would be ready to fire back.

But nope. During a recent interview with BBC Radio 1Xtra, the host A.Dot figured out a clever way to ask Smith about Hubert, “Who was the best Aunt Viv?” The host asked.

Listen I think that both of the Aunt Vivs were really, really fantastic. I think when you make a show, anytime you make a change, it’s going to be excruciating and painful. I think that Janet Hubert brought a really powerful dignity to the show.

And after that surprisingly nice response, the host straight up asked Smith if he still likes Hubert, “As an artist, there’s so many things that she does. She sings, she dances, she’s like a really powerful artist so I love what she brought to the Fresh Prince.”

You’ll notice he never actually answered the question. Instead, he just listed out all the things she does well. It would be like someone asking me if I liked Brussels sprouts, and I responded by saying, “Well, uh, you know…they’re truly an excellent source of Vitamin K and C. You also got some fiber mixed in there and even some of those essential omega-3 fatty acids.”

You see? You can be nice without being direct. However, this is TVST and we just want to say that Janet Hubert needs to grow the f–k up! She just turned 60-years-old, but she still acts like a 9-year-old who just learned she can’t eat any cookies before dinner.
