Madonna Shows Up Nearly Three Hours Late For Australian Concert, Fans Left Stranded After Missing The Final Train Of The Night!
Someone needs to tell Madonna there is a difference between being a “diva” and being a terrible person. The 57-year-old singer loves to make the crowd wait, but she might have pushed things too far in Brisbane, Australia Wednesday night.
The close-to-capacity crowd expected Madonna to hit the stage at 9 PM, because that is what the schedule claimed. But then they were told the start time had been pushed back to 10:30, but even that was too early for Madonna.
She didn’t take the stage until 11:22 PM, and when fans started to boo her, she tried to blame them for the incident.
It’s you people that get here early that’s the problem. Stay home, do your hair and makeup, have a tequila. Roll yourself a fat one … no, I don’t believe in that sh-t. Just come late and I won’t have to come early. We’ve got three more shows and we want to fix the problem.
What?!? They weren’t early! The show was scheduled to start at nine! IF YOU KNOW YOU’RE NOT GOING TO START AT NINE, THEN WHY SCHEDULE IT FOR NINE?
And if you’re going to show up over two hours late, you might want to at least put on a good show. I mean, what the f–k is this? It’s not art. Don’t try to tell me it’s art.
And as we mentioned in the title, some fans were left stranded after the concert because the last train of the night had already left by the time Madonna completed her stumbling act on stage.
With three more shows to go, Live Nation Entertainment is warning fans to show up late…
Following a late start last night, fans should note, the timing for tonight’s performance may also be delayed. We encourage concert goers to keep this in consideration when making arrangements to get home safely.
