After All The Drama, Kesha Performs At Billboard Music Awards, And It Was Probably The Best Performance Of The Night! (VIDEO)

Last week, we warned you that it was looking like Kesha wouldn’t be able to perform at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards. On Tuesday, Dr. Luke and his label Kemosabe Records rescinded its approval of her performance because they believed the 29-year-old singer was going to make a statement against them.

Kesha even sent a message to her fans on Instagram, explaining how disappointed she was and that the performance was only going to be about honoring one of her favorite songwriters. She wasn’t going to use the spotlight to slam Dr. Luke.

Well, it looks like Dr. Luke saw her message and believed it. Or maybe he was just tired of being the villain. Either way, the approval was restored on Thursday and Kesha was cleared to perform.

And we’re proud to say that she killed it. She delivered a beautiful and emotional performance of ‘It Ain’t Me, Babe‘ by Bob Dylan. She had the ridiculously talented Ben Folds behind her playing the piano, and honestly…it was just a perfect moment.

The night was filled with some pretty lackluster performances (Looking at you Biebs,) so it was refreshing to see someone get on the stage and just sing from the heart. She was singing because she needed to sing. I know she said she was doing it for Mr. Dylan, but it certainly looked like she was doing it for herself.

Sadly, it’s almost impossible to find a video of the performance, HOWEVER, she and Ben Folds performed the same song just a few days earlier in Los Angeles.

Check out the video below. The song is perfect for her. I’m kinda addicted to it now.
