During A Hilarious Interview With John Stamos And Lea Michele, Taylor Lautner Admits Taylor Swift Wrote A Song About Him (VIDEO)
The year was 2009. Taylor Swift was still writing country music, and Taylor Lautner was set to be a huge movie star thanks to his work on the Twilight films. Obviously things didn’t quite work out for Lautner, but he did take advantage of his brief time in the spotlight.
Back in 2009, he dated Swift for a few months after they met each other on the set of Valentine’s Day. Their relationship didn’t even last a full year though, and it reportedly came to an end in the month of December, which is a terrible month to end a relationship.
For years now, fans have assumed T-Swift’s 2010 song Back to December was about her relationship with Lautner. She explained in several interviews that she wrote the song as an apology to this ~mystery~ guy because while he treated her so well, she was careless with their relationship. It’s kinda the anti-Swift song in that she is the one doing the heartbreaking.
Well, Mr. Lautner participated in a Facebook live chat with his Scream Queens costars John Stamos and Lea Michele, and during this chat his old romance with Swift was brought up.
And even though Lautner was clearly uncomfortable with the conversation, Michele pushed things by trying to remember the lyrics to the song that was allegedly written about him, “I think it was on the one about a sweater and a hat. ‘Something about, ‘If I would have known / I wouldn’t have done that / I’ll make you a hat,’ she says, “… Something about a hat! I don’t know!”
That’s when Lautner comes clean…watch the hilarious clip below. The entire interview is surprisingly entertaining, but you can skip to the 9:30 mark to jump right into the Swiftness.
