Wait, What? John Krasinski Remembers That One Time Emily Blunt Thought She Had Caught Him Watching Porn

John Krasinski and Emily Blunt seem to have one of the strongest relationships in Hollywood. Obviously, you never know what’s going on behind closed doors, but they seem to be in love and they’re both mature. When they get in arguments, they probably don’t rant about it on Snapchat.

And they still look at each other like this…

Pretty sweet, right? They have been together for nearly 10 years. The two stars got married in 2010 and have two children together. Life is good right now. But during the early stages of their relationship, the 36-year-old actor/director didn’t feel 100% comfortable with Blunt yet. He wasn’t ready to be completely honest about his love for the romantic comedy, The Devil Wears Prada.

As most of you know, Blunt stars in the 2006 film, so things got pretty awkward when the actress stopped by John’s house unannounced, and he was just chilling in the living room with her movie playing in the background.

We had just started dating and she had come over to my house. She popped by in between some things and I was watching it. She opened the door and I flipped the channel and she looked at me like, ‘Were you just watching porn?’…I think it was better for me at the time for her to think I was watching porn than watching The Devil Wears Prada for the seventy-fifth time.

The secrets didn’t last long though. Just one year into their relationship, the movie came on the television and Blunt asked her boyfriend if he had watched it, “A lot of times,” he said. She replied with, “That’s so sweet, but how many times?” And that’s when he was forced to admit he had watched it over 70 times.

Krasinski has a thing for movies that can make you laugh and cry, which is why he decided to star in and direct the dramedy The Hollars. It received a standing ovation when it premiered at the Sundance Film Festival back in January.

Since then, it has collected a bag of mixed reviews from critics, but Krasinski is extremely proud of what he created.

There’s a lot of crazy stuff going on in the world so I think it’s really nice to have these movies. I’m a sap so I love these movies. I love Terms of Endearment. I love these types of movies. Bring them back, I say. I cry so easily.
