Terrifying Video Shows Mischa Barton Rambling Incoherently After Being Drugged At Her Birthday Party (VIDEO)

While celebrating her 31st birthday with some friends, Mischa Barton, best known for her role in The O.C., was drugged.

On Thursday, she voluntarily checked herself into the hospital after she noticed her behavior becoming more and more erratic. You can see just how ‘out of it’ she was in the disturbing video above. This was filmed before she was hospitalized at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

When she arrived at the hospital, the staff informed her that she had been given GHB, which is commonly referred to as the date rape drug.

She released the following statement to People Magazine:

“While having drinks, I realized that something was not right as my behavior was becoming erratic and continued to intensify over the next several hours. I voluntarily went to get professional help, and I was informed by their staff that I had been given GHB. After an overnight stay, I am home and doing well. I would like to extend a big thanks of gratitude to the professionals at Cedars-Sinai for their great care and professionalism. This is a lesson to all young women out there, be aware of your surroundings.”

It’s great she is speaking out about this. Hopefully it prevents the same thing from happening to someone else. As Mischa said in her statement, always be aware of your surroundings.
