Reps for Jennifer Lopez have confirmed, the 52-year-old star is officially engaged to Ben Affleck! As most of you should know, the two stars rekindled their romance last year after nearly marrying each other way back in 2003.

After spending over 17 years apart, they found their way back to one another. It’s truly a romance made for the movies.

Lopez confirmed the most recent engagement news in her On the JLo newsletter days after she was photographed wearing a ring on that special finger.

She revealed the exciting update in a Friday evening email to her inner circle. The message to fans included a clip of Lopez admiring a huge, green stone on a silver band on her ring finger, an image of which was also shared by her sister Lynda on social media.

For those who don’t know, Green is Lopez’s favorite color, so it makes sense that Affleck surprised her with a green engagement ring. Lopez claims there have been many moments in her life where amazing things have happened while she was wearing green.

Lopez recently talked about her relationship with Affleck during an interview with PEOPLE. She claimed that their relationship is better now because they’re older and wiser.

We’re older now, we’re smarter, we have more experience, we’re at different places in our lives, we have kids now, and we have to be very conscious of those things.

Lopez has twins with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, and Affleck has three kids with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
