Stacey Dash Posts Super Awkward Video Of Her Crying Over DMX’s Death One Year After He Died
If you were hoping to make it through this day without feeling uncomfortable, well, we have some bad news for you.
‘Clueless‘ actress Stacey Dash just provided the internet with a healthy does of cringe this week. She shared a video to her Instagram account, featuring herself crying over the death of DMX, who died over a year ago from a cocaine-induced heart attack.
She captioned the video, “I was strolling through #tiktok and found a #DMX song that has saved me many times. Suddenly it says #RIP i know I am late, i did not know he passed away, he #OD I am heartbroken – he was such a great guy.”
Yeah, somehow she went over a year without realizing DMX was dead. And it’s safe to say she was really disappointed to hear the news.

In the video, she tells her followers that she’s ashamed that she’s just now finding out about this, “I didn’t know DMX died. I didn’t know from a cocaine overdose.”
She then talks about how she’s six years clean.
I am today, six years and one month clean and it breaks my heart. It breaks my heart that he lost to it. He lost. He lost to that demon of addiction. Please, please don’t lose.
For those who hadn’t heard, Dash had suffered with a pill addiction. She admitted to first trying drugs when she was just 8-years-old. At one point in her life, she was taking 18 to 20 pills a day.
So hey, good for her. We don’t want to make fun of her because being clean is a really important thing, and we’re sure it is emotional for her.
But damn… where has she been? He died back in April of 2021!
