Al Roker Spends Christmas With His Family After Recent Hospitalizations
It’s been a rough past month for famous weather anchor, Al Roker. He had to miss Thanksgiving festivities due to being inside the hospital for blood clots in his legs that traveled to his lungs.
He was released from the hospital, but then had to return a few days later. At the time, he admitted the journey has not been easy.
It’s been a tough slog, I’m not gonna deny this. It’s been the hardest one yet, and you know I’ve had my share of surgeries.
Roker revealed he lost a lot of muscle mass while inside the hospital, but he was determined to get his strength back and return to the ‘Today‘ show.
And thankfully, it looks like he’s well on his way. The 68-year-old weatherman shared a photo on his Instagram account. In the picture, Al looks happy and healthy, sitting at a table with his family for Christmas breakfast.
They were all wearing matching pajamas. Roker captioned the sweet pic, “From our family to yours, #merrychristmas.”
It’s certainly good to see him looking so happy and getting to spend time with his family at home. Hopefully 2023 brings him lots of good health.
For those who don’t remember, back in 2020, Roker revealed he was diagnosed with prostate cancer. He said the disease was “a little aggressive” despite catching it early.
No word on if his recent health struggles are at all related.
