Gwyneth Paltrow takes wellness to the extreme. We all know this. In the past, she’s faced some heat for telling women to steam clean their vaginas, which is obviously something doctors advise against. She’s also sold some ridiculously expensive beauty items to her gullible followers.
The 50-year-old Gooper is no stranger to controversy, and she’s in some more of it this week after her daily wellness routine went viral on TikTok.
During an episode of The Art of Well Being, Paltrow talked about her wellness routine, sharing how she likes to start off with an IV full of vitamins.
I love an IV, I’m an early IV adopter. Glutathione and Phosphatidylcholine are two of my favorites. They’re quite hard to find, and those make me feel so good.
She then intermittent fasts until 12 pm, which is otherwise known as “skipping breakfast,” to people with a job. She eats something at noon that won’t “spike her blood sugar.”
“I love soup … I have bone broth for a lot of the days,” she noted. Paltrow then explained she likes to do an hour of movement, which could be walking or pilates.
The Goop founder then dry brushes in the sauna for 30 minutes and has a vegetable-heavy dinner in line with the paleo diet to ‘support [her] detox.’
TikTok was not about it. They were slamming her hard in the comments. One person simply commented, “Insufferable,” while another user wondered how the IV was helping her because she looks “so sick.”
Another person commented, “The mother of all almond moms. What is she detoxing from if she doesn’t eat?”
She’s definitely on her own little planet. To say she’s out of touch would be an understatement. Can you imagine her switching lives with some single mom in Kansas working at the local supermarket making $13 an hour? She’d be trying to jump in front of a train before the end of her shift.
